1st4Sport Level 2 Award in Coaching Studies

1st4Sport Level 2 Award in Coaching Studies is a nationally recognised qualification developed for those from the age of 14.  It's an excellent way to give young potential coaches valuable foundation knowledge before they go on to specialise, qualifying them to to support more experienced coaches in creating a safe, equitable coaching environment while delivering coaching sessions and sports or games-related activities.

It takes approximately 80 hours to complete and candidates learn:

  • how to plan, organise and deliver a variety of sports
  • the real benefits of exercise
  • the importance of a healthy lifestyle
  • safe practice and ethics in sport
